A fingerprint is personal. For some people it is the last one they have of someone they love. So we hold as little as we can, for as short a time as we can, and we tell you when it is gone.

The same tool we use for orders, free and without an account. It turns a few photos of a fingertip, a baby's foot or an old ink print into a clean print, and saves it to your phone. Nothing reaches us unless you order.

You get a record of the deletion.
Deletion runs automatically 30 days after delivery. We email a reminder 7 days before, so you can save your copy or ask for more time. Want it gone sooner? Delete it from your order page at any time after engraving.
Questions
What if it is someone's last print?
Save your copy first. We also print it on the card in your box and remind you before we delete our file. Reply to that email if you need more time.
Can I use an old ink print or a print from a hospital card?
Yes. Photograph it in daylight and the capture tool cleans it up. You approve the proof before we engrave.
Do you ever show customer pieces?
Never prints or drawings from orders. Every piece shown on this site is our own sample.
Who engraves my piece?
We do, in our own studio. Your file is not sent to anyone else.
